We are excited to welcome our first speaker of the year for a special presentation on the history and significance of the Beckwourth Emigrant Trail. Join us as we learn more about this important route and the stories woven into the landscape that surrounds our community. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local history, gain a deeper appreciation for the area we call home, and enjoy an engaging conversation with our knowledgeable guest speaker: Mary Kliejunas, (District Archaeologist, Beckwourth Ranger District, Plumas National Forest.) We hope you’ll join us for this fascinating journey into the past!

We were so busy enjoying the Cinco de Mayo fundraiser we forgot to take more photos and videos. How wonderful it was to end up selling out of tickets!! A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, donated, donated for desserts, to our board members, Two Hearts plate/utensil rental and of course Little Bite Deli for their amazing food, Horchata and service. We are feeling so incredibly thankful for such a wonderful event at the center. Please continue to keep an eye out for more events this spring and summer. We look forward to being able to bring community together!
