🇺🇸 A Powerful Beginning to an Unforgettable Independence Day Celebration 🇺🇸

The 2026 Graeagle Independence Day Celebration officially began with a moving and patriotic Flag Raising Ceremony at Herb Rowe Park, where our community gathered to honor the 250th Birthday of the United States of America.

Residents, visitors, veterans, and families stood together beneath the beautiful Sierra sky as a new American flag was proudly raised, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and the National Anthem echoed throughout downtown Graeagle. The ceremony served as a heartfelt reminder of the freedoms we cherish and the countless men and women whose service and sacrifice have made those freedoms possible.
As the Stars and Stripes climbed skyward, the sense of pride, unity, and gratitude was unmistakable. It was the perfect way to begin another incredible Graeagle Independence Day Celebration and to commemorate this historic milestone in our nation's history.

A sincere thank you to everyone who participated in and attended this special tradition. Your presence helped make the ceremony a memorable tribute to our country and to the spirit of our remarkable mountain community.

As we continue Celebrating Freedom in the Sierras 2026, we hope you'll enjoy all the festivities that make Graeagle's Independence Day celebration one of Northern California's most beloved holiday traditions.

Help us proudly kick off the annual Graeagle Independence Day Celebration this Friday at 3:30 PM at Herb Rowe Park in beautiful Graeagle, California.�

As we gather to celebrate 250 years of American freedom, the afternoon will feature the respectful retirement of the current American flag, the raising of a new flag, a stirring rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner, and the Pledge of Allegiance as our community comes together in honor of the values that unite us.�
This meaningful tradition is a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate the freedoms we cherish before an exciting weekend of festivities.�

🚲🇺🇸 Kids on Bikes – Britton Memorial Bike Brigade 🇺🇸🚲

Join us as part of the Graeagle Independence Day Celebration and the community’s Annual Parade on Sunday, July 5th! Bring the kids, decorate those bikes, and get ready for a fun-filled ride before joining in the festivities.

📍 Meet at Movin’ West RV Park
📝 Registration is required at the entrance
💲 No entry fee
✨ Bikes can be decorated on-site
⛑️ Helmets are required for all participants
