Final Cleanup this morning and Emergency Drills then Staff Training Weeks are done! What an amazing 2 weeks of learning together, challenging one another to grow, and stewarding this incredible property. Pray that this group of staff will continue to grow both in their love for the Lord and their love for His Word. We can't wait to see how God is going to use them this summer.

⚓ ARMADA IS COMING TO CAMP THIS SUMMER! ⚓

One of the best parts of Staff Training Week is watching our Staff learn the games they’ll be leading all summer long—and this week they got their first taste of ARMADA!

Part strategy. Part teamwork. Part all-out chaos.

ARMADA challenges campers to work together, communicate under pressure, and outmaneuver the competition in a fast-paced battle that quickly becomes a camp favorite.

The games are fun, but the purpose is bigger. Every activity at Lincoln Lake is designed to build relationships, create opportunities for discipleship, and point campers toward Christ.

We can’t wait to see the first ARMADA battles of Summer 2026!

Who do you think would make the best fleet commander? ⚓🚢

☀️ CAMP STARTS NEXT WEEK! ☀️

The countdown is almost over!

Next week we welcome campers for both Elementary Camp and Day Camp, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what God is going to do this summer.

There will be games, friendships, swimming, campfires, activities, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable memories. But more importantly, every activity is designed to point campers to Jesus Christ and encourage them to take their next step in their walk with Him.

Please join us in praying for:
• Safe travels for campers and families
• Wisdom and strength for our staff
• New friendships to be formed
• Hearts that are open to God’s Word
• Life-changing decisions for Christ

We’re ready for an incredible week as we kick off our 2026 summer season with our theme:

🔨 BUILT 🔨

“For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 3:11

📢 Haven’t registered yet? There’s still time to sign up for Elementary 2 Camp and Dash Camp! If your child is looking for a week filled with adventure, friendships, fun, and spiritual growth, we’d love to have them join us this summer.

“Where do you find limitless joy?”

During Staff Training Week, Pastor Jonathan Fuller challenged our staff with a simple but powerful truth: the deepest joy isn’t found in success, accomplishments, relationships, entertainment, or circumstances.

True joy is found in the presence of God.

The world offers temporary happiness that comes and goes. But Scripture points us to something far greater—a deep, lasting satisfaction that can only be found in knowing and delighting in Him.

As our staff prepares to serve campers this summer, we are reminded that ministry is not sustained by energy, talent, or even good intentions. It is sustained by a daily walk with God and a heart that finds its joy in Him.

Please pray that our staff would pursue Christ above all else this summer, and that the joy they find in Him would overflow into the lives of every camper they serve.

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” — Psalm 16:11

"The most dangerous compromises are often the ones that appear to work."

One of the challenges Pastor Brian Cederquist gave our summer staff during training week was this: never confuse ministry success with personal obedience.

God may choose to work through us, but that does not give us permission to ignore the areas of our own lives that need His attention.

A counselor may see campers saved.
A staff member may have a great week of ministry.
A program may seem successful.

But none of those things make unconfessed sin acceptable.

As we prepare for a summer of serving campers, we're reminding our staff that spiritual influence begins with personal holiness. The goal is not simply effective ministry—it is faithful ministry.

Please pray for our staff as they prepare to serve this summer. Pray that they would walk closely with Christ, pursue integrity, and allow God to work in their own hearts as they seek to impact the hearts of others.

Built Before Camp Begins

Before the campers arrive…
Before the games start…
Before the cabins fill up…

Our staff is being challenged from God’s Word to build their lives on the only foundation that lasts—Jesus Christ.

This week isn’t just about learning policies, procedures, and schedules. It’s about preparing hearts to serve, disciple, encourage, and point campers toward Christ all summer long.

Would you pray for our staff as they continue training? Pray that God would strengthen their faith, deepen their love for Him, and use them in a powerful way in the lives of every camper who comes to Lincoln Lake this summer.
