May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and mental health conversations need to include older adults and the people who care for them.

Caregiving can be meaningful, but it can also bring stress, isolation, and emotional strain. More than 4 million caregivers across New York provide support to loved ones every day, and many experience impacts on their own mental well-being.

In this video, Becky Preve of the Association on Aging in New York (Aging-NY) shares why supporting caregivers and older adults matters, and highlights resources available in communities across the state.

Watch and learn more about the support available for older adults and caregivers.
