Another successful Old Settler's Day in the books. We want to give a big thanks to everyone who made this year's event possible, our wonderful sponsors, all the people who donated their time and effort and especially everyone who came out and enjoyed the day with us. God willing we'll all be around to do it again next year, mark your calendars, August 8th and 9th 2025.

There will be a kids bike parade 15 minutes before the main parade Saturday morning. Line up will be in front of the gove community building at 9:30. There will be prizes for the best decorated bikes. There is no theme for the parade this year so let your imaginations run wild!

Old Settlers Day will once again be providing two inflatable bounce houses this year, but we are updating our rules for use. All children playing on the inflatables will need to have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before they are allowed to enter. Children will be given a wristband when their parents sign a waiver. We will be dividing the children into two age groups for the two inflatables, 2-6 and 7-12. Finally, any children playing on the inflatables need to have adult supervision at all times. Thank you for helping us keep this event fun and safe for everyone participating.

Come out to Gove this Friday Evening for our third annual co****le tournament. $10/Team entry fee, double elimination with cash prizes for first, second and third.

Our first Annual Old Settlers Day Steak Cook-off was a success! All ten teams turned in fantastic steaks, and there were some tough decisions for our panel of judges. Thank you to all the competitors, and to our sponsors Leon and Donna Tuttle, and K***z Meats.
