The Backpack Program is one of our service projects aimed at supporting the youth within our district. This program discreetly provides a bag of food each Friday and before breaks throughout the school year to children in elementary school. We are currently supplying 175 bags filled with ramen, applesauce, granola bars, and breakfast bars. To sign up, please contact the Gouverneur Elementary School Counselor, Lisa Sayer ([email protected]). 💙💛A heartfelt THANK YOU from The Kiwanis Club of Gouverneur...

We are incredibly grateful to our community members, businesses, and organizations for generously supporting our Wildcat Backpack Program.

Your generosity is so much more than a donation. It helps us fill backpacks with food and provide a little extra security for local children and families facing food insecurity. Every sponsorship, donation, and act of support reminds us just how special our community is.

The Wildcat Backpack Program is possible because people in our community continue to step forward and say, "Our kids matter, and we want to help".

To our ongoing sponsors, 2026/2027 letter campaign sponsors, and supporters: THANK YOU. Thank you for believing in this program, for investing in our children, and for helping us make sure our Wildcats have what they need for the weekend.

It truly takes a community-and we are grateful.

🐾Together, we're "Backing the Packs" and supporting our Wildcats, one backpack at a time!
