The New York State Police in Carthage are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two runaway juveniles from Carthage High School in Jefferson County.

Both juveniles were last seen on May 27, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., walking away from Carthage High School toward the village of West Carthage.

Gemma P. Gabruk, age 15, from Carthage, is described as approximately 5’2”, 125 pounds, with a thin build, long blonde hair worn down, glasses, and blue hazel eyes. Gemma was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, gray pajama pants, and sneakers.

Braylenn G. Mullen, age 15, from Carthage, is described as approximately 5’2”, 110 pounds, with a thin build, strawberry blonde hair, and blue eyes. Braylenn was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and carrying a pink and black backpack.

The juveniles may be in or around the Carthage or Watertown areas. Neither juvenile is believed to have an active cell phone.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or the New York State Police at 315-366-6000 and reference case number NY2600665016.
