Summer Rec Soccer Program - Updated Schedules

We will hand out paper copies of these schedules at tonight's games. Reminder there is no change in field or playing time tonight from the previous schedule to the new schedule. The changes all start with the games this friday.

Also, tonight is picture night. We will have a few extra forms if you have lost your or not received one from your coach.

Summer Rec Soccer Program Update – We’re Back Baby!!

We are cleared to restart our soccer games at the East Side Elementary school now that the paving project is completed. Special thanks to Cory Wood and the school staff for their continued communication, support, and field maintenance while we were paused. It truly does take a village to make it all work.

For tonight, August 5th, we will rejoin the schedule on the fields and games that are on the original schedule for tonight. We will not start from the beginning.

With the pause in our program, we’ve missed a lot of games, but don’t worry, we’re going to make it up to you. 😊 Beginning NEXT WEEK, we will start playing 3 nights per week. We will play on Mondays, Wednesdays, AND Fridays for the rest of the season, and we will extend the season by an additional week, with our last game and picnic on Friday August 28th. This should allow us the opportunity to get in 10 game nights (weather permitting).

New schedules will be published on our page later this week, and paper copies will be handed out at the games next Monday. There will be no change from the current schedule for tonight, or next Monday and Wednesday, so for the next 3 games, stick to the original schedule. The changes will start with next Friday’s games.

Picture Night is being rescheduled. It will not be tonight. As soon as we get it figured out we’ll let you know. Picture forms will be handed out tonight at the games.

Shirts are ready and will also be handed out at tonight’s games.

With the schedule changes, some of our wonderful volunteer coaches may not be able to make all the games due to schedule conflicts. If you would be able to step in and help on some of the nights, please let us know (Text 315-8936-5775).

Summer Rec Soccer for tonight, Monday august 3rd, is cancelled. The school paving project is not quite finished yet. Although the asphalt is down, they still need to get the parking lot striping finished before we drive on it. It is scheduled to be completed tomorrow.

Going forward, we are working with coaches and facilities to possibly add in more days of the week or extend the season another week to get back the missed time. We'll keep you posted when we get it figured out. For now plan on playing games Wednesday as scheduled and we'll be issuing revised schedules soon.

SUMMER REC PROGRAM UPDATED 07/27/26

We are still on hold because of the paving project at the east side school. It is taking longer than anticipated and will not be finished until early next week. Because of this and the fact that we can't stripe and set up fields in time at Riverview park today, there will be NO GAMES TONIGHT.

If the weather allowed us to play Wednesday night (Forecast is rain all day Wednesday), we would still need to use Riverview park and it would be a delayed start because there is a travel soccer game until 6:30 pm.

The odds are just not in our favor this week, and rather than have everyone wondering about Wednesday with the weather, and the late start, etc., I believe the responsible thing to do is to just cancel now for Wednesday also, so that parents can plan their week and aren't having to wait and see. So NO GAMES WEDNESDAY this week either.

We are working on some make up game dates to get more games back in the shorter season, possibly playing more nights during the week and/or extending the end of the season, and will have updated schedules at the start of next week.

As of right now, photos have been postponed until Monday August 3rd. We will have shirts and photo forms prior to the start that night. We will upload the photo form to our page later this week so you can plan ahead.

We do apologize for the wonky start to this season but some things are just not in our control, and these upgrades at the schools will be a nice improvement. We will do our best to make the rest of the season action packed and the best we can once we get back on the fields.

For this week, smile, dance in the rain, laugh lots, and practice working with the soccer ball at your feet when you can.
