I’m going to post GPS AND Q sheets for anyone who would like to do ITT or just ride the courses in segments. ITT will be unofficial since it’d be hard to confirm support. If you were one of the very few finishers then post the complete GPS and which year it was.

If you ever hung around the Lincoln cycling scene much including Gravel Worlds or on Hooligan Hill during fall cx races then there's no doubt you may have seen, heard or known the legendary Christopher Van Ooyen aka "CVO". Huge promoter of the cycling scene & the general shenanigans that went with it in the Lincoln area, he passed away this week after some major medical issues & the Lincoln peeps & his family could use your thoughts & prayers, it's been a tough haul for the Lincoln folks lately & they could use some good karma, RIP CVO, ride on!

If you can make it please do. I didn't know Randy Gibson. We never had the chance to meet when he couldn't make the trip to ride Odin's. I do however know him because he dropped everything he had going to help me with the Odin's Q sheets. Every year we had the pro Q sheets that was Randy Gibson. He didn't even mind when I had to have things changed last minute after we were done with them. People like that are few and far between. Since I didn't get him out here I sent an Odin's hat down and the message of thanks was over the top. He insisted I didn't have to do that and how much was the hat? I never told him how much I figured it was the least I could do for the help he sent my way.

This was not an easy decision. I struggled with this for a long time. It's not gone forever knowing me. I just need to regroup and see where it should go.

For five years, Odin's Revenge threw down an annual 180 mile remote road bicycle race that captured the very essence of the storied Mid-West...

After five incredible year's of Odin's, we have decided this is a good time to call it for now. This was a very hard decision folks !! This is not set in stone either. The DSG crew will be discussing some changes to what Odin's will become in the future if we resurrect it at all. Maybe a gathering type weekend of multiple days with the best gravel routes and scenery you will have the chance to turn a pedal on? Just a get together for some grassroots fun with bikes, beer, and friends? We'll see what the future holds.
I need to thank my friends in DSG that helped me every year, without them it wouldn't have been possible. Matt Bergen, Nate Bell, Kyle Vincent, Garrett Olsen, Bob Wieck, Paul Siebert and most of all my partner in crime Merrie Quigley !! You guys rock!!!
I'd also like to thank all the riders that made the trip here to experience the courses I dreamed up.They were always meant to challenge you at every turn and make want to see what's around the next bend or over the next hill. I hope when you remember Odin's while around a campfire after a ride you'll have a huge grin on your face knowing you attempted one of the toughest gravel rides around and didn't back down. To all the finishers we had, which wasn't many, I will always be in awe of what you accomplished!!
I'm sure I will have more to say later, but for now, that's enough.

Thank You from the bottom of my heart for being part of this !!!
