✨ Epic Day of Service: Project Complete! ✨

Brushes and rollers are put away and another Rotary project is in the books! On Thursday, Rotarians wrapped up the second half of our Epic Day of Service project in Ehmen Park.

Over two days, with help from community partners and Rotarians, picnic shelters at Lake Helen and Ehmen Park received a fresh new look for families and visitors to enjoy.

Rotary believes in Service Above Self because we are people of action. We see a need, gather a team and get to work creating lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who picked up a brush, scraper or drill to help make Gothenburg parks shine. 💙💛

✨ Service Above Self in Action! ✨

Rotarians rolled up their sleeves, grabbed paint brushes and got to work creating something that will leave a lasting impact. We’re not just painting shelters — we’re painting pride in our community.

Projects like this are about more than fresh paint. They’re about investing time, energy and care into the places people gather, play and make memories.

We’re not done yet! Rotary will be painting shelters in Ehmen Park this Thursday beginning at 5:30 pm, and there’s still room for more helping hands. If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you. Come create a lasting impact with Rotary and see what Service Above Self looks like in action. 💙🎨

✨ Service Above Self in Action! ✨
We are incredibly grateful to three amazing local businesses who stepped up to partner with Rotary and make a difference in our community: Eastside Animal Center, Wet Paws Grooming, and Fran Linegar Painting.

Together, we rolled up our sleeves and gave the picnic shelters at Lake Helen a fresh new look! Their willingness to serve and support this project is a true example of what happens when community partners come together with a shared purpose.
