Kids Fishing Day is CANCELED... We will reschedule later this summer... Stonelick has no electric and the water has not totally subsided yet. The Friends feel that it would be safer to cancel and reschedule at a later date... We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Due to high water at the park and the chance of continued thunderstorms Kids Fishing Day is moved to Tomorrow JUNE 20th.. We are sorry for the inconvenience but feel this is the safest option...

It's that time of year again. The Friends of Stonelick will be hosting Kid's Fishing Day, Saturday June 19, 2021. This is a free event sponsored by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. We will be offering the "Passport to Fishing" program again this year. Everyone is welcomed to participate.
Food, drinks, snacks and fishing bait are provided. This event is open to the public so grab the kids and meet us at Stonelick for a day of great fun. Event starts at 10am and runs till 2pm.
Also June 19th and 20th is "Free Fishing Weekend" no fishing license required.

ATTENTION!

The Spotted Lanternfly has been discovered in Ohio.

A resident reported a dead adult in Mingo Junction, just south of Steubenville along the Ohio River.

ODA is working with U.S. Department of Agriculture, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio State University Extension and the Ohio Grape Industries Committee to do visual surveys, insect trapping and outreach in the area.
