This is what the state agency over child protection in Indiana was advised to respond with when challenged about intrusive policies regarding families being harassed and having their homes and family lives disrupted by agents of the state for legal h**p-derived cannabinoid consumption:

"We decline producing the records requested. The requested information is not maintained by DCS and we are not obligated to create or compile a new record under the Indiana Access to Public Records Act. 1

Sincerely,
/s/ Kristin M. Bailey

Read the full list of questions sent Dec. 9, 2022 below:
1. From 2017 to 2021, by year, how many cases were initially investigated due to cannabis-related or positive THC tests? Out of those cases, how many children ended up being removed from their home? How many of those children remain removed from their home?
2. How many cannabis or positive THC test cases remain ongoing?
3. How many cannabis-related issue cases are being forwarded, expected, or evaluated by external not-for-profits? How many of these not for profits organizations do you work with. Are they providing any professional diagnoses?
4. Please outline the process hospitals generally take to inform you of positive THC tests in parents and children? (That would be in all cases from testing at birth to admittance of consumption) policy, forms, or procedures
5. Since 2019, of any case that involved cannabis related issues, how many cases were parents or children allowed to continue to use legal h**p-derived THCs purchased over-the-counter?

Indiana prosecutors are being urged by the state attorney general to attack law abiding business and individuals for forms of h**p-derived cannabinoids that have been sold legally since 2019.
Upon inquiry from the State Police superintendent, the state AG now declares to interpret the current law to mean h**p-derived products are “synthetic.”
Let the legislators who made the current h**p laws know we support current law, want access to Hoosier h**p products, want expansions to reform, and need to legally protect businesses, and consumers.
Remind your elected and appointed officials that these legal h**p-derived products have never caused injury, disability, or death.
We have the first community cannabis town hall event scheduled, at Washington National Guard Armory, Wed., Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. EST. Media invited, info updated as it becomes available:

It’s scary what the state of Indiana and the IRS can do to you…even when you’ve done nothing wrong. Although, self sustainable farming is considered kind of extreme these days…
