Dear Seedlings to Sunflowers Families and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!
It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that we welcome you to a brand new school year. Thank you for choosing Seedlings to Sunflowers as a trusted part of your child’s early education and care. We are honored to be part of your family’s journey and are committed to providing a nurturing, inspiring, and enriching environment where your child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our work is fueled by love, purpose, and a dedicated team of educators who bring expertise, warmth, and heart into every classroom. They are passionate professionals who value the connection between families and teachers and understand the importance of partnership in your child’s development. Whether you’re reconnecting with familiar faces or meeting new ones this year, we’re excited for the relationships that will blossom.
Our Commitment to Community
Seedlings to Sunflowers has always been more than a school — we are a community rooted in care, collaboration, and shared purpose. As I look back on this past year, I continue to be inspired by the ways our families have shown up — to celebrate, to support, to engage, and to advocate for our children and each other. The strength of our community lies in these connections, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as we grow even stronger together.
Get Involved
This year, we invite you to take an active role in your child’s classroom and in our broader school community. Whether it’s reading a story, leading an activity, or simply sharing time and talents, your presence makes a meaningful impact. Please connect with your child’s teachers or Program Directors to explore volunteer opportunities — the children light up when they see new faces engaging in their world.
We’re also excited to grow our Board of Directors and Parent Teacher Organization. If you or someone you know is interested in joining either of these vital leadership teams, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’ll be happy to connect you with our Board President, Sara, or our Seedlings to Sunflowers PTO President, Ellyn.
Sunflower Community Playspace & Café
If you’re new to our community, we invite you to explore our Sunflower Playspace & Cafe, located right next door to our 3 Gorham Industrial Parkway campus. This space was created as an extension of our mission — a place where families can gather, connect, and play. Open to the public Monday–Friday from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., it’s a wonderful way to meet other families or celebrate a special event. We also offer private party rentals for birthdays and more.
In Partnership,
Meghann Carrasco
Executive Director
