❗️❗️Please join us TODAY at 4pm on Chick Drive in Gorham for the skatepark’s ribbon cutting ceremony and an AMAZING skating demonstration!

Please park in the parking lot at Narragansett school or the ice skating rink parking lot and use the walkways to & from the parking lot to minimize damage to the grass.

We are excited to formally open the skatepark with you all! Thank you!!

It’s a great weekend to check out the new skatepark! Have fun and be safe. Quick reminders below to ensure the skatepark can grow all the grass around it and be a welcoming place to all! Looking forward to seeing you all out there!

Thank you all for your continued support! We are almost to the finish line and planning for an early October grand opening!

❗️❗️Please remember to keep off the loose loam areas all around the park until we have time to get it seeded and the grass to take hold. This will take up to 21 days minimum….so realistically think last week of September / first week of October.

We really need your help on this to ensure we can get the skatepark up to standard! We appreciate all of your help!

The Gorham Skatepark is coming together! Cement coming soon and rebar work is beginning this week!

We’re excited to share the design for our new Gorham Skatepark! It will be located on the Chick property behind the Public Safety building. It’s unique to our great community based on your survey input and the community design sessions. Thank you to Pillar Skateparks for their amazing work in designing this skatepark for us!

We’re on track to start construction this spring of Phase 1 which represents 7500 sq feet of skateable park with Phase 2 (the bowl which is shaded in blue) to be completed at a later date.

Thank you to the Town Council, Town staff (Ephrem Paraschak, Tom Poirier, Cindy Hazelton, Sharon LaFlamme and Zach Lambert), Sebago Technics, and our corporate donors (Gorham Sand & Gravel, Gorham Savings Bank, Auburn Concrete, The Ollie Fund and The Skatepark Project) who are helping make this project a reality!

We’ll keep you updated as the project progresses. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.

This Wednesday, December 15th please join us at the Gorham Municipal Center at 6pm for the in person design meeting with our selected skatepark vendor, Pillar Skateparks!

Your input is critical in creating a skatepark that will be loved by all in Gorham for years to come!

December 15th at 6pm! In person input and design meeting with Pillar, the proposed vendor for the Gorham Skatepark!!

This is an important chance to influence the design of the skatepark. Community input is CRUCIAL to everyone enjoying the Gorham Skatepark. Please attend / weigh in if you have any interest in the park.
