Thanks to everyone who braved the rain to support our annual community meeting last month! 🌧️ 🙌

This year brought substantial progress: trail and parking upgrades at our properties, new routes at Ferne Clyffe, stewardship at Fountain Bluff, invasive species removal at Giant City, and a successful land swap at the Holy Boulders.🌲🪨

Plus, tons of events, a fantastic halloween comp 🎃, and new ICA merch! 🧢 We were also honored to present Jeff Frizzell with our ICA Legends Award.🏆

Big things are coming this year including a campaign to support infrastructure at the Gallery at Jackson Falls. Let’s keep building and caring for the places we climb! 💚

Hey you. Yes you. The one who said “Today’s the day!” about sending their project. Again.

We see you, and right now, we need a favor.

Access Fund is asking climbers everywhere to tell us what they truly care about. Your answers will help shape the future of climbing conservation. You know, the future of the places you'll happily drive three hours to, just to get punted off the rock. (You love it though).

Share your opinions with us and be entered to win some really cool prizes—37 prizes to be exact. That's about as many times as you said "okay, one more go" before finally sending your proj.

If you care about protecting climbing's future, take our survey: https://www.accessfund.org/latest-news/take-our-2026-climber-survey

If you don't, well, you do you, boo.

Our annual Community Meeting is coming up on Saturday, April 18th. We love connecting with you at this laid back event that has something for everyone.

Climb the rocks, learn the lore (never a dull moment here), and enjoy a beautiful spring day at Ferne Clyffe State Park. We hope you’ll get some pitches in before meeting us at the Hillside Shelter at 5pm. We’ll provide snacks and refreshments before sharing our yearly updates and playing Illinois climbing trivia. Like the legend we’re honoring this year, we try to keep you on your toes.😉

This year, we have the honor of presenting Jeff Frizzell with the ICA Legends Award. Join us in discussing the roots of Illinois climbing and his important part in that legacy.

We kindly ask that you register at the link in our bio, to ensure there are plenty of snacks, and we will see you in a few weeks! 💚
