Cedar Mills Yacht Club Open House NEXT SATURDAY AUGUST 10!!! We look forward to seeing club members and marina guests interested in learning about all the things a club membership has to offer! We are providing food, so please RSVP so we're ready!

GUESTS/NON-members: If you plan to attend, we request that you please RSVP to [email protected] by or before, Thursday August 8th so we have a headcount for food planning! Please include your name, number of attendees, and dock slip in the email.

Our new OFFICIAL Cedar Mills Yacht Club sign is up now!! Looks great and is a welcome addition to let both Power AND Sail boaters know about the club! The website and a QR code will take the right to the website!!!

It's time for the annual Texoma Sailing Club Annual Spring Regatta - April 20 & 21!

This two-day race is the largest sailing event on the lake. And there is a racing class for all experience levels – Cruising, Leisure, & Recreational.

From racing, themed dinners and holiday parties, to quiet summer evening raft-ups, there is always something going on at TSC!

SPRING RACING!
February 24, 2024

We will reschedule the first race of the season for two weeks from Saturday, for February 24th.
That will give everyone a chance to look at their schedules and hopefully we will have better weather.

"HOWEVER if you want to join in sailing on Saturday morning before the Mardi Gras socai event at 5:30pm, please join me! Last weekend I sailed for 5 hours aboard Into The Mystic and made a 22 mile round trip to Sunset Point and back. The vernal equinox is approaching --let's Spring into a great sailing season and enjoy our boats!"

The CPR/First Aid class offered by the CMYC yesterday was a great success! There were 17 attendees and the instructor was Greg Woodbury from Greenville Fire and Rescue. It was a very informative class. A big thanks to Rear Commander, Dan Newell for making all the arrangements and Greg Woodbury for providing the instructions!

THE WEATHER FORECAST LOOKS UNFAVORABLE FOR RACING THIS SATURDAY BUT WE WILL WAIT UNTIL LATER IN THE WEEK TO MAKE A FINAL DECISION. SO FAR ONLY TWO BOATS HAVE AFFIRMED THAT THEY WILL PARTICIPATE. IF FORECAST DOES NOT CHANGE BY FRIDAY MORNING WE WILL MAKE A DECISION BY CONSENSUS. ONLY THE SKIPPERS INDICATING THAT THEY WILL RACE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE DECISION MAKING. PLEASE DO ME THE COURTESY OF INDICATING WHETHER OR NOT YOU PLAN TO RACE IF THE WEATHER LOOKS OKAY.

THE SKIPPERS' MEETING WILL BE AT 11:00 AM WITH THE RACE TO START AT 1:00 PM.
RACE FEE $5.00
