"Blast" events, hosted by Texoma Westend Support, a Texas 501(c) (3) organization, are fundraising events supported by dedicated volunteers. Past events have included the Arctic Blast, Polar Bear Plunge, 5K run and car show and the Texoma Blast. The proceeds from the events, organized under Texoma Westend Support LLC, currently provides financial aid to the Western Grayson County Special Olympic teams, local volunteer fire departments, and the community lunch program for children.
