Western Sandhills American Legion Riders

Western Sandhills American Legion Riders Open to members of the American Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM

American Legion Riders chapters are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded servicemembers and scholarships. Since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in the Legion Legacy Run, to annually raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, established to provide scholarships to

children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001. The Western Sandhills chapter is sponsored by Gordon American Legion Post #34 and comprised of members from all around the area but mainly from Gordon and Hay Springs. The chapter's officers are:
