It’s Thursday! And we are happy to serve your family with grocery assistance 😊🛒🫶🏼

Helping Hands of Goose Creek will be open this evening from 4:30-6:30. We are a food pantry that serves the Tri-county area.
If it's your first time coming, please bring your ID, names and dates of birth of all living in the household, and please arrive one hour before close time to get processed and into our system. We are located at 104B Commerce Pl, Goose Creek, SC.

Every day we receive fresh veggies from farmers and grocery partners that we pass on to the families we serve. Here’s a quick look at our veggie processing. All of the good produce goes in bags and is distributed to the families we serve. All of the bad produce goes in boxes and is shared with local farmers. Thankful for our veggie volunteers who make magic happen. 🫶🏼💚

🌟 **Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Debra!** 🌟

For the past four years, Debra has been a dedicated volunteer with Helping Hands of Goose Creek, and we are so grateful for her compassionate heart and faithful service.

When asked why she volunteers, Debra shared, "It helps me get out of myself and put others first—something I feel God has called me to do. It is a blessing, and I am always amazed by how much I receive from those I serve—their kindness and gratefulness."

Debra encourages others to consider volunteering because it can help you become more compassionate and more grateful for the blessings in your own life.

Originally from Ohio, Debra has lived in New Jersey, England, and Louisiana before making Summerville her home eight years ago. When she's not volunteering, she enjoys reading, water aerobics, playing cards, Bible study, traveling, and what she calls the best job of all—being a Nana!

Debra says that volunteering at Helping Hands of Goose Creek has been the best volunteer experience she's ever had. She enjoys meeting new clients, finding ways to help others, and has formed wonderful friendships with fellow volunteers along the way.

Thank you, Debra, for your servant's heart, your kindness, and your commitment to our mission. You make a difference in the lives of so many families, and we are blessed to have you as part of the Helping Hands family. ❤️

Helping Hands is happy to support families from the entire TriCounty area.

Why do families come to us from other areas? Our serving opportunites meet their needs :) We are open 6 times per week to serve the community: Mon-Fri 9-11:15 and EVERY Thursday evening 4:30-6PM. Also, once per month we're available on a Saturday morning.

If you need assistance, no questions asked--we offer a helping hand with groceries.
