Thank you friends for 8 incredible years of loving people alongside PLR. We hope you’ll keep the PLR spirt alive by slowing down to SEE those around you, by helping your neighbor as you SHARE food in the green blessing boxes we planted, and using your passion to SHAPE a healthy community as you love people like Jesus.

While our season on Redbank is complete, we keep on living intentionally and loving well.

May God bless you and keep you, may his goodness and mercy follow you, and may you most importantly know you are loved! ✌️💛

Project.Love RDBNK has been on a mission to love Goose Creek families and beyond since our inception in 2019. PLR started with a grocery collection campaign for our BRAND NEW CHURCH in Jan 2019, a school supply rally in fall 2019, and a dream for a clothing closet to serve families in the RedBank area, which also launched in the fall of 2019. I remember our first grocery distribution at the local laundromat... and the first family to come shop at the closet. I remember standing on RedBank praying for those we would encounter in these 3 missional focuses.

Then Covid happened — and we prayed about how to love people from a distance... so we got permission in the fall of 2020 to bless teachers at all 5 schools on RedBank with some encouragement & snacks each week while they navigated a very CRAZY new school year — we funded this with a business partnership.

In the spring of 2021, we partnered with local businesses and planted 4 GREEN blessing Boxes along RedBank, Habitat, American Legion, Blue Start Laundry, and Redbank Dentistry, which we filled regularly. Soon, we noticed that others were filling them as well

The Community Closet will be closed for Memorial Weekend, Friday May 22 through Monday May 25. We will resume normal hours on Friday, May 29

The PLR Clothing Closet will be closed Friday, May 1. We will reopen on Monday, May 4

Thank you to our Community for your continued support - we truly appreciate your clothing donations! Drop off times are Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. - if you can't bring your donations during those hours, text or call the number listed on the door or message us via Facebook to arrange a donation time. And remember - please don't leave your donations on the porch
