Everyone say Hi to Rubia!!! She's is the cutest therapy dog I've ever seen. I was told to say "Cookie"!!! And she looked straight at the camera lol. She's a Star and the seniors enjoyed her company. Thanks again Charlene Sheets ❤️. See you again soon Rubia!

🌺 “Aloha to Our Amazing Seniors!” 🌴🌺🌴 Aloha to Our Amazing Seniors! 🌴🌺

Today we celebrated National Senior Citizens Day — Island Style! 🏝️☀️

We brought a little tropical fun to the center with sweet treats, colorful cupcakes, Rice Krispie pops, and plenty of island vibes! 🧁🌺🍭

But today was really about THEM. ❤️ Our seniors bring so much laughter, wisdom, personality, and joy into our center every single day, and they deserved a little something special just to remind them how much they are appreciated.

One of my favorite for the month of July was Tea Time with Jesus. It was beautifully decorated, and the Seniors enjoyed it so much. They still are talking about it!! Thank so much Heidi Shinaberry. She's such a nice person with a sweet spirit❤️ Hope to do another soon...

Today, we had the opportunity to visit the South Berkeley County Senior Center to share a presentation on emergency preparedness. We discussed the importance of reviewing insurance coverage before disaster strikes and knowing where to turn for assistance after an emergency. We appreciate the opportunity to help seniors in Berkeley County stay informed and prepared.

My name is Nicki, and I'm honored to serve as the Activity Director at the Berkeley Senior Citizens Center.
Our center is a place where older adults come together for friendship, fun, laughter, learning, and community. Whether it's bingo, games, birthday celebrations, exercise, educational programs, or simply enjoying time together, we're committed to making each day meaningful for our seniors.
This page will be a place where we share photos, upcoming events, special moments, and ways our community can get involved.
We're always excited to connect with local businesses, organizations, churches, schools, and individuals who would like to make a difference. If you enjoy speaking to groups, performing, teaching a craft, sharing a hobby, leading a wellness activity, or volunteering your time, we'd love to hear from you!
We'll also occasionally share opportunities for those who would like to support our programs through donations of activity supplies, snacks, birthday treats, bingo prizes, and other items that help make our events extra special.
