Your milk contains stem cells. These are cells that build and repair the body. They can make copies of themselves and also become other types of cells, such a bones cells, heart cells, liver and brain cells etc.

Your baby ingests thousands to millions of stem cells from your milk every day.
Multiple studies have been conducted on stem cells and their effect on tissue repair, wound healing, cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease. These cells may also be a reason that mothers who breastfeed have a reduced risk of breast cancer.

Tonight we will be discussing the early days at home with your new baby, what's normal and what needs attention. We also answer your questions wherever you are in your breastfeeding journey. Please join us from 7-8pm in the office of Healthy Images located near Tatum/Cave Creek Rd next door to Fry's, 29455 N Cave Creek Rd suite 124 Cave Creek 85331. This monthly event always offers free breastfeeding and related help including baby scale/weight checks, breast pumping support with fl**ge size fitting, optimal latch and positioning and more.
