The journey may have seemed like eternity to you, but if you ask your parents and loved ones, I'm sure they'll tell you the time FLEW by. My advice: SLOW DOWN, savor this moment. Some of these ppl that you've been with almost your whole life, you may NEVER see or hear from again. Some of you may teeter the line btwn student & adulthood just a bit longer, but just know, adulthood doesn't come with a free trial. Once you get there, there's no turning back. Lean on your faith. Lean on whatever support system you have. Great things can come from COOSA COUNTY. And you're one of them! Welcome to the real world💙🤍💪💪

A BIG THANK YOU to those who gave monetary donations or supplies to help make this year's Period Packages a success‼️
We were able to get 10 pks together for our young ladies at Central Coosa High School that included underwear of various sizes, sanitary pads, hand sanitizer, pocket calendars, mental health bracelet, and encouraging affirmation cards. I delivered the pkgs to the school nurse this morning. She was very grateful and said it was much needed❤️💛👑

Day 7: IMANI, which means FAITH.
Today I'll be making a small Karamu Ya Imani, which is the Feast of Faith. It is usually done on the 6th day but I usually have to work so I do it on the 7th day. What a great way to end the 7 days of Kwanzaa!😋
