Last night, Cub Scout Pack 613 celebrated the end of another great year with our end-of-year picnic!

We were excited to welcome special guests from Minnesota-Wisconsin K9 Search and Rescue. Scouts learned how K-9 teams help with search and rescue missions and had the chance to meet the dogs up close. Thank you for sharing your time and teaching us about the important work you do!

We have a lot of fun activities planned for the summer and can’t wait to keep the adventure going.

For anyone that has read or heard the NPR story concerning the US Military and Scouting America, please see the following link. I encourage all of our participants, parents, leaders, family, and friends to redouble our efforts to support the youth of our communities. I believe, now more than ever, that Scouting America is an organization needed by the youth of today.

Saturday some of our scouts attended Fall Family Adventure at Gamehaven Scout Camp.

Scouts learned BB Guns, Archery, Sling Shot, how to make ice cream, and fire building. The also tried out the new challenge course and bowled with pumpkins.
