What a fun start to summer we had last weekend! Our Scouts were able to participate in Scout Night - which included holding the flag during the National Anthem, running the bases and camping out on the field! Lots of fun memories were made!

What a fun weekend we had! The weather was perfect ☀️ some of our activities included:
-Advancement Ceremony (a few of our leaders were specially recognized too, for their dedication and hard work!)
-Eat Safe Fish demonstration
-Cubmaster Dave taught the Scouts about the different types of fish in Michigan, and which ones are safe to eat.
-Fishing at the lake! The Scouts enjoyed time catching their own fish 🎣
-Flag retiring ceremony - the Scouts learned why flags are retired, and the proper way to retire them
-Bonfires with s'mores
-Life-size foosball
-Bonding and lots of memories!

Thank you to Cubmaster Dave, our leaders and parents for making it such a successful and fun weekend! 🏕

We are currently on a camp out at D-Bar-A Scout Ranch but wanted to take a moment to introduce our new Cubmaster!

We are excited to announce that Dave Navarro is our new Cubmaster!

After serving as a Den Leader and Committee Chair, he's officially worked his way up to the job that suits him best —being a big kid and calling it leadership 😄

His energy, enthusiasm, and love for Scouting make him a natural fit for the role, and we're looking forward to adventures, laughter, and unforgettable memories for our Scouts.

Please help us congratulate and welcome Dave, as he begins this new chapter with Pack 340! 🏕️🐾⚜️
