ASMBA will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day - the day that we recognize the service of ALL of our military veterans. We are thankful, each and every day, for our veterans - it is because of them that we do what we do. Without the service of our veterans, we would not have the many freedoms that we have today. However, many veterans struggle to adapt to civilian life, become homeless, suffer from mental illness, PTSD/TBI, substance abuse, or other issues. They feel hopeless, lost and forgotten. It's not enough to say, 'thank you for your service', we must all recognize the obstacles they face and do our part to help them. There are several ways you can help: donate to the military charity of your choice; learn what your community is doing for veterans in your area and volunteer to help; organize a small fundraiser to benefit the veterans in your area. That's the very best way to honor these brave men and women. Our offices will reopen on Wednesday, November 12th, at 8:00 a.m. CDT.
