The New Testament writers often distinguished between different types of love. While Agape (divine, sacrificial love) is often described as a gift of the Spirit, Storge refers to the "natural affection" found in tribes and clans.

Romans 1:31 & 2 Timothy 3:3 reminds us through Paul a warning of a time when people will be "without natural affection".

The Point: By warning against being "without" it, Paul implies that having affection for tribe and kin is the natural, healthy state of a human being. To not love is seen as a violation of nature itself.

We’ve all been told: "A jack of all trades is a master of none."
Usually, it’s a warning to stop spreading ourselves too thin. But if you’re a teacher, a mentor, or a leader, that’s only half the story.

The full quote actually says:

"A jack of all trades is a master of none, though oftentimes better than a master of one."

For those of us who pour into others, being a "Jack of all trades" isn't a weakness—it’s our greatest asset.

The world doesn't just need specialists; it needs bridge-builders. It needs people who can see the "Big Picture" and help others find their own path.
