The deadline to apply for SCCF’s third-quarter grants is 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵.
This is the final opportunity to apply for grant funding that will be awarded in 2026. Fourth-quarter grant applications will not be awarded until January 2027—so if your organization or project needs funding before the end of the year, now is the time to apply!

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.

We pause to remember the lives lost, honor those who served and sacrificed, and reflect on a day that forever changed our nation.

This event is open to economic development professionals, elected officials, city and county staff, community foundation representatives, business and community leaders, board members, volunteers—and anyone interested in making good things happen in Northwest Kansas.

Maybe you don't have anything specific in mind? That's okay!

Your 5% could be placed in a fund that allows SCCF to respond as Sherman County changes. We don't know what our greatest needs will be 10, 20 or 50 years from now—but we know there will always be work worth doing.

Maybe Sherman County itself is your 5%.

Our museums and historical society care for the photographs, documents, artifacts and stories that help us understand where we came from. Their work makes sure those pieces of Sherman County aren’t lost—and that future generations have the chance to learn from them.
