Today we Celebrate Agriculture Day 2025.

In 2024 Kansas ranked #1 in Sorghum for Grain. 53.2% of U.S. total.
Kansas ranked #1 in Cropland with 28,340,827 acres and 7.4% of U.S. total. #1 in Principal Crops Planted on 25,024,000 acres, being 7.8% of U.S. total and Kansas rated #1 in Wheat, Winter and rated 16.1% of the U.S. total.
We salute area Ag Producers both large and small. Congratulations!

The Land and Sky Scenic Byway (the AG Byway) is 88 miles in Cheyenne, Sherman and Wallace counties in Kansas.
Cheyenne County has 384 farms accounting for 529,326 acres
$132.8 million in crop and livestock sales
Sherman County has 386 farms accounting for 618,428 acres
$139.2 million in crop and livestock sales
Wallace County has 281 farms accounting for 445,809 acres
$81.79 million in crop and livestock sales
