Ten years ago our community came together to build The Hideout. It was an amazing experience to watch as everyone brought their unique talents to make that vision a reality.

Yesterday, The Hideout received a full fresh coat of paint. It looks brand new and we LOVE the fun, new artistic touches that make this type of playground so special.

Thank you to the GMS art department for repainting the entry signs. Thank you to all of our local artists who came to do the specialty art work. Thank you to everyone who came and helped with all of the general painting. It went so quickly and looks so great. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to those who donated materials, supplies, and snacks for the crew.

It was so special to bring most of the old crew back together for this renovation project. So many memories shared of the original build and how special the experience was. Thank you again to everyone who helped, sorry if we missed anyone!

The park will remain closed this week until after the polyurethane is applied and has had time to dry completely. Please wait until after it is officially reopened to go enjoy the new artwork. Thank you!

We were devastated when a fire damaged a large portion of The Tot Lot in the East Park several years ago. Luckily the City of Gooding, with the help of insurance, was able to restore the structural portion that was lost.

We have had several people approach us over the years asking about the custom pickets that were lost during that fire. While we are not able to do the customization to the current pickets, we would love to recognize the people who had pickets in that area. We will be installing a sign at the playground for this purpose. If you lost a picket during the fire, please complete this Google Form to be listed on the new sign.
