Gooding Community Garden

Gooding Community Garden Visitors welcome during daylight hours. We have public plots available. We also have large plots for growing food for our local food pantries.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in all of our gardening activities.

We'd like to thank our local growers who have supported us with plants this growing season. We couldn't do it without you!

Plant donations for our community plots came from Moss Greenhouses, Country Greenhouse, and Brick Barn Family Farm. Thank you for supporting us so that we can donate to our local food pantries!

And thank you to the Gooding Farmer's Market for allowing us to host a plant swap. Thanks to Gallup Family Farms and Sherri's Produce for donating some plants to our swap! The recipients were grateful.

Our "Dig in With Us" BBQ & Work Day was a success! We all pitched in to help each other with the community plots and private plots to get things ready for the growing season. Mario from the University of Idaho Extension office joined us and reviewed the results of the tests he did on our soil. Our soil is nice and healthy!
