A while back we shared a memory reel from renovating the basement. We did the apartment renovations while I was pregnant and during maternity leave, the work continued. This reel shows memories from that time; the final half of the church project. It serves as a keepsake for our family but we thought some of you may enjoy watching it, too.

It starts by showing how during those winter months we finished the final touches on the apartments, hosted an Open House for the apartments, continued working upstairs, had an Open House for the community space and then it was ready for reservations the middle of last summer.

It doesn't seem possible that it's been used by the public for one whole year already. If you've utilized the space to host an event over the last year and feel comfortable sharing pictures from it, we'd love to see photos!

The Blessings Box has recently been filled to the brim with various books, loads of hygiene products and cleaning supplies. All free for the taking!

Please, reach out if you'd like to add 'new' toys to your rooms/collections for this school year. We had a couple people gather treasures from our Toy Swap Shop over the last week but there's plenty more to go round. 🥰

We hope everyone's having a great summer so far.🌞 Unfortunately, we will not be accepting any more reservations of the community space this summer and fall is booking up fast.

If you're hoping to use the space anytime between September and November, reaching out sooner rather than later gives you the best chance at securing your preferred date!

Huge shout-out to some of our good friends who made the drive from Rochester yesterday to drop off donations for the Sip and Swap tomorrow! The event hasn't even started, and the generosity is already abundant. ♥️

Would anyone else like to make a donation drop before the event tomorrow? If so, feel free to message us here. Items can be dropped off starting at 11 am.

As a reminder: it is totally acceptable to attend the event without bringing anything to swap. Just be sure to bring $10 for the entry fee!

It's the little things like...

'Hey, our church group has leftover tablecloths from an event the other day. Could The Goodhue Sanctuary still use some?'

Or, the...

'Hi there! We have some cleaning supplies we no longer need. Could the community space use any more?'

And, the...

'We just had our party in the community space and just want to say thank you so much! It was perfect!'

The thoughtful gestures and appreciation is what will sustain this space. ♥️
