Our July program celebrates the remarkable legacy of Northern California fiber art with two films from the Bay Area Fiber Artists Archive, a project documenting the lives, work, and influence of exceptional contemporary fiber artists.

Video producer Ellin Klor will introduce the films featuring Kay Sekimachi, Ana Lisa Hedstrom, and Judith Content, then share a behind-the-scenes look at how this important archival series came to life and why it matters.

Join us to view “Kay Sekimachi - Perspectives / Art, Legacy & Influence” and “Ana Lisa Hedstrom & Judith Content: Continuum in Cloth / Approaches to Contemporary Shibori.”

This Saturday, July 11th, 9:30am-12pm at the Goleta Community Center.
