Adoption fee is $110 and includes spay/neuter, worming, age-appropriate vaccines, medical record, goody bag, loaner supplies, and 4 FREE training sessions. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday 9 am until 4:30 pm and Saturdays 10 am until 3:30 pm. Our shelter depends on volunteers! Volunteers are needed to help with the cleaning, general care, and training of the animals. They are needed to ensure that the dogs get walked daily. Volunteers play a big part in adoptions as well as special events at the shelter and off site. If you would like to volunteer to help the shelter pups, please attend the volunteer Open House held every 3rd Saturday of the month. Tax-deductible donations can be made to the SBCAS-SB Shelter partner, K-9 PALS, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that raises funds to pay for the dogs prescription diets, all non-routine medical diagnostics, care, all non-spay/neuter surgeries, and behavior training.
