Meshach's Carpenters - Volunteers in Mission

Meshach's Carpenters - Volunteers in Mission Through God, ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Please see our "ABOUT" section for details, including supporting churches and sponsors.

In 1999, Hurricane Floyd devastated eastern North Carolina. As members of Goldston United Methodist Church, Charles Fields, Jody Harris and Phillip Luther, felt it was their duty to help. After heading east, the team experienced firsthand the devastation, which became the force that drives the team to giving. The three of them, as well as other volunteers, created what is now known as Meshach's Ca

rpenters. Meshach's Carpenters is a disaster relief group that assists families in times of need. Starting with only a small group of twenty, the group is now continuing to grow in number. After rebuilding homes in North Carolina, and churches both in North Carolina and Mississippi, the team has not only grown in spirit, but in size. It is a non-denomination group that has grown from two chuches to over thirty. Meshach's Carpenters is equipped with tools and a willingness to work, funded only by donations, fundraisers and prayers.

Please pray for the Bonlee Fire Department. Long time member Danny Hancock Sr went to be with the Lord last night. We are all feeling this loss throughout the Fire Service and the community. We are all blessed to have known and been in the presence of such a great Godly man. Your fire family and the Hancock family will be in our prayers.

Many Meshach's will remember "Boots" from his assistance in our fundraisers.

Also Jody Allen is collecting 5 gallon buckets for future flood bucket supplies if needed. We should also consider doing a Hurricane Relief project before the storm in case anyone around us needs assistance.
Please call Jody for more information or shoot him an email [email protected].
Also please remember our First Responders in your prayers as they will be out serving their community and others if they are needed.
Thanks You
