Yesterday was a big day for little Journey as she had her Vet visit 💕
She weighs just 1.40 lbs… such a tiny little body carrying so much.
We got her X-rays done, and while we don’t have all the answers yet, we do have a better understanding of what she’s facing.
Journey has definite front limb deformities, something she was likely born with. And based on what we’re seeing—not just on the X-rays, but in how she moves—there is also neurological involvement.
This isn’t just one issue… it’s a complex condition. But if you’ve met Journey, you already know—nothing about her says “give up.”
To learn more and give her the best chance possible, she will need a CT or MRI, and we’ll be reaching out to Big Spring Imagery for pricing.
She did receive her first round of vaccines today and will need her second round in 3 weeks 🐾 Her total vet bill from today came to $610.00
For a 1.40 lb puppy who could have been overlooked… she is already proving she was worth saving.
