🦘🐍 We had a WILD time! 🦙🐰

Our consumers took a trip to It’s A Zoo Life near Pinetops, NC, and what a fun adventure it was!

From kangaroos and llamas to rabbits, snakes, iguanas, and all kinds of amazing animals, there was so much to see and experience! 🦎🐾

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, excitement, and maybe even a few brave souls getting up close and personal with some of the animals! 😄

We love opportunities like this for our consumers to get out, explore new places, experience new things, and make wonderful memories together! ❤️

A little adventure, a lot of laughter, and a WILD amount of fun! 🦘💚

What a FUN week of outings for our consumers! 🥰🎉

Good food, sweet treats, lots of laughter, and even better company! ❤️

This week, our consumers enjoyed two special outings! One group headed to Grounded and Baked for some delicious sweet treats, while another group enjoyed a yummy lunch at Brooklyn Pizza! 🍪🍕

Sometimes the best memories are made around a table, sharing stories, laughing together, and simply enjoying time with friends!

We love seeing our consumers out in the community, making memories, building friendships, and having FUN! 💕

🎉 BUSY DAYS, BIG SMILES & LOTS TO CELEBRATE! 🎉

Our consumers at Wayne Opportunity Center have been BUSY, and we have so much excitement to share! ❤️

🍬 Giving Back to Our Community!
Our consumers participated in a Knights of Columbus-sponsored Tootsie Roll fundraiser at Sam’s Club! What a wonderful opportunity to get out in the community, support a great cause, and make a difference!

🍽️ Good Food & Great Company!
We enjoyed a fun outing to Low and Slow Restaurant in Smithfield, NC! Nothing beats a delicious lunch, laughter, and spending time together!

🩷 PINK OUT DAY!
We proudly wore PINK to raise awareness for breast cancer, honor those who have fought the battle, and show our support for continued research and the hope for a cure!

🌿🏆 FIRST PLACE AT THE FAIR!
How exciting is THIS?! Some of the beautiful plants grown right here in our greenhouse took home FIRST PLACE at our local county fair! We couldn’t be prouder of the hard work that goes into growing and caring for these plants!

🚜 FORKLIFT RODEO FUN!
And let’s give a big shout-out to our very own Linda Adams! 👏 Linda, who drives our truck and trailer throughout Wayne County collecting cardboard for recycling, put her skills to the test by competing in a Forklift Rodeo! Way to go, Linda!

❤️ From community involvement and fun outings to award-winning plants and showcasing our staff’s talents, there’s never a dull moment at Wayne Opportunity Center!

We’re proud of our consumers, our staff, and all the wonderful things happening around here!

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, LAURA MARTINEZ! 🎉

Please join us in celebrating Laura Martinez, Wayne Opportunity Center’s October Employee of the Month! 🏆👏

Laura has been a valued member of the Wayne Opportunity Center family for more than 8 years, serving as our Bookkeeper. She works diligently behind the scenes to make sure staff are paid on time, accounts receivable are collected, and bills are paid. We truly appreciate the important role she plays in keeping our financial operations running smoothly.

In her spare time, Laura loves spending time at the beach, making the trip every chance she gets! 🌊☀️ She calls it her “calm place”!

Laura, thank you for your dedication, dependability, and years of service to Wayne Opportunity Center.

🎊 Congratulations, Laura, on being our October Employee of the Month! We appreciate you! ❤️👏

☕🍽️ GOOD FOOD, GREAT FRIENDS & LOTS OF FUN! ❤️
What a wonderful week of outings for our consumers! From coffee dates to delicious lunches, we’ve been out and about in our community, making memories and enjoying time together!

Our adventures took us to Bean Sweet Coffee Shop, Golden Corral, Jade Express at Berkeley Mall, Center Street Deli, and He Brews Coffee Shop!

There was plenty of delicious food, lots of laughter, and even more friendship! ❤️

Because sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones - sharing a meal, enjoying a cup of coffee, and spending time with friends!

Food, fun, and friendship…that’s what it’s all about! 🥰
