The Dillard Middle School Partnership Project, launched in the spring of 2011 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Goldsboro, NC, now involves three Goldsboro aread Episcopal Parishes: St. The DMSPP has worked to help meet needs expressed by Dillard students, families, faculty, and staff. Examples of projects include stocking a clothing closet and a breakfast pantry, collecting school supplies, he

lping families in crisis, providing tutors and mentors, and hosting staff luncheons. As a partnership, it is also important for stakeholders at Dillard to participate in supporting others in the community and have helped to respond to needs and projects of supporting churches, including making holiday cards for service members and providing artwork for display. Andrew's Episcopal Church and St. Francis Episcopal Church have joined in the partnership project and we are growing and looking in new directions!

School Resource Officers (SROs) are sworn law enforcement officers assigned to schools to ensure safety and build positive relationships among students. As a public safety professional, SROs fulfill key roles. Their responsibilities include preventing crime and substance abuse, providing conflict resolution assistance, responding to emergencies, and serving as an intermediary between the school and the community. Please join us in introducing Corporal M. Davis.

Corporal Davis is passionate about building relationships with students and acting as a trusted adult while connecting families with helpful community resources. She is also very active in the community, serving as a coalition member of Safe Kids Wayne County and as a member of Philadelphia Community Church. In her spare time, she enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, and experiencing new dining experiences.
