Team Seymour Spouses Club

Team Seymour Spouses' Club at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is a non-profit social service organization. The Thrift Shop is a managed and operated by TSSC.

Team Seymour Spouses' Club at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is a non-profit Social Service Organization. TSSC members consist of active duty, retired, widowed, reserve and civilian employee spouses. TSSC promotes social, cultural, recreational, and off-base activities among the members to raise money for scholarships and charitable funds throughout Wayne County, NC. We raise an average of $15,000

in scholarships each year and several thousands of dollars for outreach purposes - an impressive amount for such a small, but growing organization. TSSC raises the majority of our charitable funds through the Thrift Shop here at Seymour Johnson AFB. The Thrift Shop only accepts donations and consignments approved by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission which provides that items sold are safe and of a certain quality. TSSC can receive monetary gifts from private individuals, foundations, local businesses or participants. Funds are deposited into our Charitable Account and will help fund our charities and scholarships for Wayne County, Seymour Johnson AFB-affiliated students of higher education and high school seniors. Administrative proceeds cover operating costs and monthly events. Local businesses and vendors are welcome to become an Event Contributor or hold a service project.

From February through May, our club was honored to award a total of $8,700 in grants to incredible recipients who are making a meaningful impact. Each grant represents our commitment to giving back and supporting those who serve and uplift others.

We are proud of the difference these contributions make, and even more proud to stand behind such dedicated individuals and organizations. Together, we continue to strengthen our military and local community—one grant at a time. 💪

Holy guacamole!! The TSSC is fundraising again, and yes, your dinner plans just got handled.

Team Seymour Spouses Club supports our military-connected community, especially spouses, but we welcome active duty, retired, reserve, and military dependents from all branches.

This fundraiser is helping us kick off the start of our new board year. Last year, TSSC gave back through scholarships, grants, socials, community support, and programs that help connect and uplift military families.

This year, our goal is simple: keep growing, keep giving back, and keep showing up for our community.

Congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship recipients!

This year, we proudly awarded $20,000 in scholarships to outstanding high school seniors, college-aged dependents, and military spouses.

A heartfelt thank you to the Buckley Foundation for their generous support, and to all those who shop, consign and volunteer at Seymour Stuff-TSSC Thrift Shop, where proceeds go to support these scholarships.

We also extend our appreciation to two of our members, Sarah and Elena, for performing the national anthem, and to Mr. Jeff Craver, Flight Chief for the Military & Family Readiness Center - Seymour Johnson AFB for sharing words of encouragement with our recipients. And to the Defense Commissary Agency at Seymour Johnson AFB, thank you for the delicious cake!

Congratulations to all of our scholarship winners—we can't wait to see what the future holds for you! 🥳

🍓❤️ Let‘s Pick Strawberries 🍓❤️

Active duty military families are invited for free strawberry picking at Elroy Farms, courtesy of First Command.

This event is open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and you're welcome to come when you like!

Each individual will recieve a 1 quart basket to pick strawberries. Additional baskets are available for purchase.

First Command is graciously covering the cost of the first basket, as well as providing icees for refreshment!
