Day two of the Flats and Handwashing challenge! I am currently doing a load in my home made bucket washer. I have been rinsing each diaper when I take them off my baby and storing them in a wet bag. Then I put them all in the bucket to soak for about 30 minutes. After that, I began "plunging" to agitate the diapers so they would get clean. I plunged about 100 times and then dumped the bucket and rinsed each diaper off. Now I am washing them again with just water to make sure all the detergent is rinsed out. Wringing and hang drying will come later today!
