Fireworks Over Wayne will feature a car show, hosted by the Wayne County Cruisers and sponsored by Sport Durst of Goldsboro! Whether you have a classic car, hot rod, custom ride, truck, or modern show vehicle, all vehicles are welcome in this open-class show.

🏁 Registration: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
🏆 Awards: 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Wayne County Fairgrounds (Enter Gate 3 off US 117 N)
💲 Entry Fee: $20 per vehicle

Compete for Top 25 Awards and Specialty Trophies, then stick around for an evening of food, live entertainment, fellowship, and fireworks! 🎆

On behalf of the Southland Car Club, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to each of you for registering for this year’s Ham & Yam Festival Car Show, taking place on Saturday, May 2nd, in Downtown Smithfield.

We are aware that there have been concerns regarding the weather forecast for this weekend. As fellow enthusiasts, we certainly understand that driving and displaying classic and specialty vehicles in the rain is less than ideal. However, we kindly ask that you take a moment to consider your plans carefully before deciding not to attend based solely on early projections. As we all know, weather conditions in North Carolina can change quickly, and forecasts are not always accurate.

Please note that Southland Car Club will be present and hosting the event rain or shine. As organizers, we do not have the authority to cancel the car show, and we remain committed to providing a great experience for all participants and attendees.
