//In between chemo treatments, Callum was able to visit the NC Mountains for the first time//

From partnering with the Raleigh Testicular Cancer Foundation and YOUR SUPPORT, we sent Callum and a few of his friends away for the weekend.

“Firstly, I’d like to thank the Cody Boyette Foundation for their support and generosity for an all-expenses paid weekend away in the mountains of North Carolina.

Anybody who’s gone through chemotherapy knows how difficult it can be to suffer in such a mundane schedule of appointments, treatments and sitting around at home. The added anxiety of finances due to hospital bills and trying to find dates when you have energy can make it hard to get away with friends or loved ones. Thankfully this past weekend, the charity has taken complete control in creating a brilliant weekend surrounded by stunning views and fun memories with friends, all while staying in a beautiful home surrounded by nature. In what could be such a negative time, I can’t thank the charity enough for allowing me to create these special memories.

Lots of physical and mental energy to tackle the 3rd and final cycle! 💪🏼❤️”

The Cody Boyette Foundation has partnered with the Raleigh Testicular Cancer Foundation to reach more patients and help them make memories together with their families. We had the honor of being a sponsor at the 2nd Acorn Gala last night in Raleigh, NC.

We’re so thankful to have Ashley Stroud on our team of volunteers that makes the Cody Boyette Foundation, keep on giving.

I have always wanted to surprise a family and say, “You’re going to Disney World!” and this year it happened! We were so blessed to be a part of this special trip on behalf of the Cody Boyette Foundation! This foundation helps cancer patients make memories with their families. They are doing such a fabulous work! When I called Stephanie to deliver the exciting news, we both cried!

Stephanie’s story is so powerful and her unwavering faith is so admirable! She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and underwent 8 rounds of aggressive chemo, 4 surgeries, 33 rounds of radiation and will be taking medication for the unforseeable future, but exactly a year from that diagnosis, she was walking down Main Street at Magic Kingdom with her family at Walt Disney World! Thank the Lord for healing and being able to make these special memories with her family! What a blessing!! ❤️❤️

One of the patients that you all have helped make memories together shares:

My favorite thing that happened when going to Boone was when I was able to go fly fishing. It was pretty fun but what really blew me away was how pretty it was out there while standing in the rivers. I am so thankful for all that made it possible for that trip to happen! That was one of the best moments with my mountain trip!
