In my prayer closet I have specific prayer topics. Like Salvation prayers, Health prayers, Daily Prayers, and Special Request.
What is a special request prayer? That's my category for the right now need. It's not a long-term illness, it's not a need for salvation, it's not even a daily prayer for guidance, drawing closer to God etc. etc. It's that Lord, I need you right now in this moment, in this specific period of my life.

While praying over these needs this morning God reminded me of something I have not thought of in years. My mom who received her healing from lung cancer when she transitioned to Heaven received while she was here on this earth something called. (SRS) Stereotactic Radiosurgery, which was a high precision treatment that delivers intense, focused doses of radiation directly to a specific tumor while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. This is where multiple radiation beams converge on the exact coordinates of the cancer spot from different angles.

After being reminded of this treatment my prayer changed to this:

Heavenly Father
Some of us could use some (SRS) Spiritual Radiation Surgery. I have people on this wall who are experiencing mental battles, trauma, unforgiveness, loneliness, and the list goes on and on. Today I pray for you to send SRS to the exact coordinates whether it's their mind, heart, emotions wherever. Lord I am not asking you to just touch these areas, but I am believing with them for a complete healing in these areas. Amen

Join us for our Annual BBQ Sandwich Sale and Yard Sale. Saturday Sept. 5th 7am until 1pm. All proceeds go to 1UP Outreach Ministries "Sounds of Joy" Christmas Project. Not only will you get some great deals you will be helping provided Christmas for families who just need a help up. BBQ Sandwiches must be pre ordered. Pick up begins at 11:00am. We are doing something new this year for our Yard Sale. We will have a pre online sale for selected items on Friday Sept. 4th. These items will need to be paid for via cash app or Venmo in order to be considered sold and then you will pick them up on Saturday during the regular yard sale.

Today made it official. 1UP Outreach will be hosting it’s annual Sounds of Joy Christmas Project at Alligood Church of God in Washington NC. Looking forward to working with these great people.

It is with heavy hearts that we at 1UP Outreach Ministry say goodbye to an amazing supporter of this ministry Donna Howell. Donna Howell’s love for this ministry will always be remembered. Her countless hours of volunteering included helping to unload and sort trucks whenever they arrived as well as being a faithful shopper in our discount store. What I will always remember about her is that while others were willing to go to namebrand stores in the area she was always willing to shop with us first. While our heart is saddened, we are also rejoicing that our sister in Christ is in heaven with the Lord dancing around the throne. We here at 1UP Ministry we’ll miss your presence Donna but you will forever be in our hearts.
