What an incredible evening we had last night at Goldsboro’s Travel & Tourism in Downtown Goldsboro! ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night filled with connection, leadership, laughter, and fun. From great conversations over dinner to being encouraged in our HR leadership roll to dancing, it was truly a memorable event!

A very special thank you to our speaker, Andrea Freile, for sharing such an inspiring and engaging leadership presentation. Your insight, energy, and encouragement made a lasting impact on everyone in attendance. 👏

Last night’s WCHRA meeting at Mt. Olive Pickle Company was such a great time! We are so thankful to Mt. Olive Pickle Company for hosting us and for providing an inside look at their operations through a wonderful tour. It was a great opportunity to learn more about their organization, connect with fellow HR professionals, and enjoy an evening of networking and fellowship.

Thank you again to Mt. Olive Pickle Company for your hospitality and for making the evening so enjoyable. We truly appreciated the opportunity and had a “pickle-licious” time!

📣 WCHRA March Meeting Announcement – March 19, 2026

Join us for our upcoming Wayne County Human Resources Association (WCHRA) meeting on Thursday, March 19, 2026, hosted by Mt. Olive Pickle Company!

This will be a great opportunity to network with fellow HR professionals while learning more about one of Wayne County’s most iconic employers. The meeting will include:

🥒 A presentation highlighting the history, operations, and workforce of Mt. Olive Pickle Company
🏭 An exclusive facility tour of the Goldsboro plant
🤝 Networking with local HR professionals
🍽 Dinner provided (Chick-fil-A boxed meals)

Please park in the open parking area. There is gated access to the plant entrance, and Mt. Olive staff will be stationed at the turnstile to check attendees in upon arrival.

✨ What a Great Meeting! ✨

The Wayne County Human Resources Association had a wonderful meeting yesterday, and we are grateful to the City of Goldsboro and the Goldsboro Event Center for hosting us. We also appreciate Rooted Wellness Center and Carrigan Ham, NBC-HWC, for joining us and leading an engaging and insightful session on “From Burnout to Sustainable Performance.”

Carrigan, a holistic practitioner and leadership coach, shared practical tools and thoughtful perspectives that truly resonated with our group. The conversation around wellness, leadership, and creating sustainable success was both meaningful and impactful.

Thank you, Carrigan, for your time, expertise, and passion!

This morning, WCHRA had the honor of presenting a $500.00 donation to the P.O.R.T.A.L anchored by the 4-Day Movement. We also had the opportunity to tour their facility and meet the amazing team members who are leading this impactful work. We are so proud to support their mission of providing short-term shelter, hope, and resources to community members in need.
