ll get a sense of what it was like to live in a gold rush boomtown in the early 20th century. Goldfield, located in Esmeralda County is 26 miles south of Tonopah and 180 miles north of Las Vegas on US Highway 95.

Big Day Today for us ! Our little red Goldfield Chamber of Commerce building is getting brand new Carpet today . It has been over 20 years since it got carpet and the last time it was old junk from the Courthouse. I’m not positive but I think it’s the first time it’s had NEW carpet!! Maybe someone remembers. Great day for us !

Well today was the big day to paint the meeting room of the Goldfield Chamber of Commerce Building. Since only 3 people besides myself showed up it took about 5 hrs and looks so nice now . Thank you Jeri Foutz , Carolyn Kelley and Tom Horton for all your hard work as the result is fantastic. When I can get enough folks committed to emptying the entire building I will schedule the new carpet . Thank you again !
