Well-known regional artist Charlotte Van Zant-King donated many pieces of original art to the Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds from the sale of her art will go towards the Art at the Heart of Goldendale campaign. Here is your opportunity to own original signed art while benefitting an important community project.

Our Valentine auction features "All You Need...," #1 of 2 monotype and pastel. Opening bid will start at $20, and bids must be made at the Chamber of Commerce office at 903 E. Broadway during open hours: 10-2 on Mondays and 10-3 Tuesdays-Fridays.

The winner will be announced via an update to this post on Friday, February 10.

On January 25 at 7:00 PM in the Camplan Room at the Goldendale Public LIbrary, Dr. Jim Ogden will present piano music from the early 1900s to the 1960s as well as polkas and Scandinavian music on the accordion. The repertoire is from music Dr. Ogden and his mother, Marguerite, played from the time he was about ten years old until their last event together when Marguerite was about 93. The concert commemorates what would have been Marguerite's 100th birthday on January 25, 2023.

Additionally, Mary Jo Olson will sing a selection of music popular during World War II, and Dr. Ogden will present a set of his late wife's favorite hymns. Singing along will be encouraged.

There will be no admission charge for this concert, and no collection will be taken. Free refreshments will be served. Free transportation will be provided by Ogden's Mopar Limo Service (GM Division) for those who would like a ride to and from the event.
