We offer activities and events during the day for stay at homes moms and those with flexible schedules. Interested in joining MOMS Club of Golden?

Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, have a home-based business or work part-time, we offer you the chance to socialize with other adults, build lasting friendships with other moms, and share in the joy of being able to stay at home to raise your family. Boundaries for Membership: South of 64th Ave, West of Kipling, North of Alameda, and East of Highway 93 as well as all Golden addresses Westward.

MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club is a nonprofit group that supports your decision to stay home with your children and offers you a chance to participate in an abundance of activities. Here are some of the things that make us special:

-We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support.
-We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so mothers bring their children with them to all activities. Having children present is considered a natural part of life.
-We have an established support system for our local chapter.
-Our volunteer coordinators are experienced MOMS Club moms who are ready to help every step of the way. Where there are several groups in an area, we help setup luncheons and get-togethers so officers and members can network and exchange ideas, and we have other support just for our local chapter members.
-The MOMS club is a nonprofit corporation and a 501 (C) (3) publicly-supported charity registered with the IRS. We participate in two service projects a year benefiting mothers and children in need. At-home mothers within our boundaries of any age children are welcome. You don’t have to leave the group when your children enter school. We know you still need support as your children grow.

Last but not least, MOMS Club of Golden members create several events and playdates every week. Playdates at the park or someone's residence, field trips to local museums or other area locales, or anything else family oriented. There are always options to get together with other families. MOMS Club of Golden hosts an annual retreat to Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. We book a few rooms and split the costs amongst those who attend. Participation is voluntary, but it is a great way to relax and get to know the other moms in the group. Our trips were cancelled due to obvious reasons during 2020-2021, but we are hopeful to continue this annual event (potentially) next spring. For more information, please contact [email protected].

MOMS Club of Golden has a babysitting co-op. If you have an appointment during the day or can't find a sitter for date night, post in the babysitting co-op for help. Either someone in the group can step up to help or give sitter suggestions. We also organize periodic playdates so all the kids are familiar with all the mother's in the group. Participation is voluntary, but it is another great feature of our group. Contact [email protected] for more information.

MOMS Club of Golden has a business meeting once per month. We meet the first Friday of the month from 10 to 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church. The kids get to play while the moms chat. We use the time to plan for the future of the club and also catch up with each other. We also feature guest speakers. Find out more at [email protected].

Calling All Creative Young Artists:

Get Ready To Create, Express and Imagine with

Golden Young at Art Classes

Offering Art Adventures for Preschool, Elementary and Middle School Students

“Golden Young at Art” classes are held at Calvary Episcopal Church on Arapahoe Street in Golden, CO.

Each monthly session has 3 classes that meet on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Each class runs 1 hour 15 minutes. Monthly session cost is $40.

Choose from ONE of the five different meeting times:

MONDAY 12:00 Noon PreK/Kinder Session (for ages 4-6)

MONDAY 2:30 Middle School Session (for students in grades 6-8)

MONDAY 4:00 Elementary Session (for grades 1-5)

TUESDAY 12:00 Noon PreK/Kinder Session (for ages 4-6)

TUESDAY 4:00 Elementary Session (for grades 1-5)

Each Season-Inspired Session features: craft stations, drawing/sketching activities, sensory materials, edible art creations and on-going “Create -Like -The Great” projects.

Taught by Mary MacCallum and Suzanne Ninke, each with degrees in Art and Elementary Education
