India gained independence from British rule on the 15th of August, 1947. The fight for freedom lasted nearly a century before they finally achieved freedom. 75 years since then, India has seen tremendous growth in agricultural production, IT infrastructure, and scientific contributions. India's space program is one of the few in the world which can boast a successful mission to both the Moon and Mars. It has been established as capable of supporting other countries, like their help in the COVID era in providing vaccines to many countries.
It stands testimony to the phrase “Unity in Diversity,” with 22 recognized languages and rich cultural diversity.
