To say that Golden has a heart of gold is not just a pun. We are thrilled to announce that Golden Gives Day participating businesses collectively donated a total of $43,828.00 to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

We are most grateful for our Golden business community and to all those who came out to drink, dine and shop for Golden Gives Day 💛💛💛

GGD participating businesses, please send in your donation amount by 5pm today if you haven't already! We'll be releasing the final amount raised via a press release first thing in the morning and will list all businesses with confirmed donations in the release.

Thank you to everyone who shopped, dinned and drank with participating businesses yesterday for Golden Gives Day. We are most grateful for your support. We'll post the final amount raised for the Boulder County Wildfire Fund tomorrow evening. Early numbers are looking strong!

Of course Golden Gives Day would not be possible without the participation of our amazing Golden business community. To all of our participating businesses, thank you being a part of Golden Gives Day and for stepping up so quickly to help our neighbors in need.

We'd also like to thank the Golden Chamber of Commerce and City of Golden, Colorado - Municipal Government for their support and assistance in helping us quickly mobilize efforts and with event promotion.

Today is Golden Gives Day! We look forward to seeing everyone out and about in Golden, drinking, dining and shopping for goods and services at our participating businesses to raise money for the Boulder Country Wildfire Fund.

Each business will be donating a percentage of their sales from Friday, 1/7 to assist those directly impacted by the Marshall Fire, which claimed nearly 1,000 homes in our neighboring communities Superior & Louisville on 12/30/21.

We had this most recent version of the flyer printed, a portion of the flyers are being handed out at the Golden Visitor Center. If you'd like a couple of flyers to post at your business, we should have enough for each participating business to have a couple. You can pick them up at either KONA BOWLS or Truly BoHotique after 10am tomorrow (Wednesday).
