SOS Donkey Haven We are a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit Organization located in beautiful Golden Valley Arizona. We are committed to providing every need for each one.

Our mission and goal is to provide a safe haven for any donkey placed in our care. Scruffy, Olive, and Sedona gave us the idea to incorporate their initials into our name. Knowing that S.O.S. is the universal morse code for Help!, but another common usage definition of S.O.S. is also 'Save Our Souls,' we like to believe that we are saving all the precious souls given over to our care. Our goal is

to provide a loving forever home for those donkeys that are or were at high risk. We would love for you to visit the donkeys at SOS Donkey Haven. All visitation will be by appointment only. Please try to allow at least 24 hours notice. You will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability. Please text (or call) Erin at 612-801-6247 to make an appointment. We prefer Zelle as we receive 100% of all donations. Our only rules for posting to our page is as follows:
1. You will be polite at all times. Do not engage, report to us!
2. You will not attempt to sell anything on our page.
3. You will not engage in negative conversations about religion, or any
kind of political opinions. Take it to another page.

Spring has sprung....tell us where you're from!!

We are ready to roll into Summer with lots of new and exciting changes at SOS Donkey Haven.

Leanne has left us as treasurer due to personal reasons. However, we are pleased to announce Jennifer Walker graciously accepting the position as our new treasurer and secretary.

She will be doing most of her work from Oatman as she does not like driving the Sidewinder from Oatman to SOS😮

On another note, a storage container was delivered to our sanctuary this past week which we will be using to store straw, hay and seasonal items.

The next steps will be building a permanent lean -to off of the container for our events (so our supporters don't have to hold down the tent poles🙄🙄), landscaping and having a local graffiti artist beautify the outside.

Heehaw!! Heehaw!! Great news! Reddick and Willow left this morning for their furever home in Spring Creek NV (about 9 hours away!)

We are so excited for them to be going home with Joe and Billie Sturtevant!

Reddick and Willow have come a long way since they have been with us at SOS Donkey Haven. We love them so much and will miss them more than words can say.

They deserve a wonderful home and we know we have found it. Love and blessings to you all❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Open House yesterday and celebrated with our amazing donkeys!

We so appreciate all of the generous donations, love and continued support year after year. We couldn't do it without you!

We would like to give a very special shout out to our awesome friends and volunteers for all of their tireless help from set up to tear down...and in between!
